Deep Sea Fising: In the bill fishing capital of the world! Please tell your crew in advance to RELEASE the marlin or no tip. The challenge and fun is in the catching. More billfishes have been tagged in Cabo in the past 6 years than any other place in the world. Let us know if you need a boat reserved with a successful track.

Bowling & Arcade: Recorcholis is Located on the 3rd floor of the Puerto Paraiso Mall. There is fun to be had by all at the bowling alley or one of the many games in this huge arcade.

Beaches: Chileno at kilometer 14 with Snorkeling and Scuba Dive Shop with snack counter

Misc. Travel Tips

Airport: Private taxis from the airport are around $75.00. Private taxis to the airport are $60.00 from 1 to 4 pax. Our office can make reservations for our clients with El Conquistador Shuttle service with no more than 1 stop for $20.00 per person. Email us the number of people, your flight number, arrival time and airlines for Conquistador.

Taxi Service: ASK taxi prices before accepting a ride. Taxi service is not cheap in the Los Cabos area but do not overpay if you do not have to.

Buying Gas For Cars: Make sure they clear the pump from the previous purchase and be aware of your surroundings. They have been known to short change you (ie: tell you they were given 50 pesos when you gave them $500.00 pesos. If you can identify a cheater, tell the office and they usually will be fired. Do not be the UGLY AMERICAN!!! Be kind but firm and don’t let anyone cheat you.

ATM Cards: Yes it works and gives you best exchange rate in pesos or you can get dollars

Driving Tip: Mexico is free range - watch for animals in the road. It is recommended to drive during the day only.

Tips for services: ( Shuttle drivers, waiters and maids) Service people rely on tips as a major source of income and greatly appreciated. ASK FOR THE CHECK - Waiters don’t want to be rude by rushing you.

Everyone will attempt to give you discount or free activities. These discounts are provided as long as you sign up for a timeshare tour. The most beautiful Timeshare resort in Cabo is Sunset Beach Resort on the Pacific. If you want to be your own developer ask in our office for information about purchasing a home or condo in Cabo. There is American Mortgage Financing available, American Title Insurance and American Bonded Escrow Companies.

If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00. With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all of it, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. Lock in your retirement with a home or condo in Paradise.
